this is not a very interesting distraction nonetheless it should serve to illustrate the principles at work for this effect the idea is that while you are SLOWLY reading this text, your browser is downloading a fairly large image so that by the time you are done so is the browser look at your status bar if it says 'Document:Done' for Netscape or 'Done' for Internet Explorer and if your browser supports Javascript then you should be ok |
